Kasalan Sa Bacolod: The Romance and Charm of a Wedding in Negros

"The Ruins" wedding photo

Have you heard of The Ruins in Talisay, Negros Occidental? Burnt and ravaged by war, yet the mansion that Don Mariano Lacon built for his first wife Maria Braga in the early 1900, remained beautiful and strong to this date.

In a way, this aptly describes the charm of the province. Negros Occidental has a timeless, regal beauty that beckons, mesmerizes, and makes one fall in love again and again.

So instead of the usual hunt for the summer, why not lure your loved one to this province's charm? After all, aside from its popular sugary, sweet produce, Negros Occidental also offers its visitors white sand beaches, falls and other natural wonders dotted throughout the province.

Think of having your prenuptial photo shoot with heritage houses like The Ruins as your romantic backdrop. Then maybe additional prenup amidst the waterfalls of Mambukal....

Now, that you're getting smitten with the place, why not consider having your destination wedding there? What's more, this April 15-17, Bacolod's best wedding suppliers will gather in Robinson's Place, Bacolod to help to-be weds like you easily plan your wedding there - from Bacolod's romantic wedding venues to wedding cakes to Bacolod's best wedding photographers. And because the wedding fair is organized by the Wedding and Event Planners Organization of Negros, Inc., the premier association of Bacolod wedding planners, you are assured the event will have every wedding detail you'll need covered.

Aside from creative wedding displays, the 3-day wedding fair will also offer wedding seminars, presentations, bridal make up contest and a bridal fashion show to introduce Bacolod's promising wedding gown designers.
