Kasalang Filipino 2010 Turns Cagayan de Oro Into N. Mindanao's Wedding Capital

Kasalan sa Kagay-an wedding and tourism fair and exhibit will turn Cagayan de Oro City, the Whitewater Rafting Capital of the country, into the wedding capital of Northern Mindanao this September 3 - 5, 2010 at the Limketkai Mall.

Endorsed by the Department of Tourism, the ninth leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 will showcase the products and services of Northern Mindanao's premier wedding and tourism suppliers. Kasalang Filipino 2010 is a nationwide wedding and tourism fair road show, which ties 12 Philippine cities with the goal of promoting the local wedding industry. The following are the 12 cities of the 2010 road show - Cabanatuan, General Santos, Lucena, Baguio, Dumaguete, Pampanga, Davao, Malolos, Cagayan de Oro, San Fernando, Bacolod and Tagaytay.

Aside for creative wedding displays of local wedding suppliers, numerous activities have been lined up for attending couples such as talks on wedding planning and wedding trends. Aspiring and professional make up artists will showcase their skills at the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up competition. Finally, Cagayan de Oro's premier wedding fashion designers will take over the runway and display their latest wedding fashion collection. Lucky couples will get a chance to win free wedding giveaways and honeymoon packages during the bridal fair.

Bulacan Wedding Suppliers Take Part in Kasalang Filipino 2010

The historic province of Bulacan, known as the cradle of noble heroes and great artists, recently presented itself as the home of Central Luzon's best local wedding suppliers during the eight leg of Kasalang Filipino in Bulacan.

The event, co-presented by Kasal.com and ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, in cooperation with House of Brides Event Specialist, showcased the best wedding venues, products, and services of various wedding suppliers from the cities and municipalities of Bulacan. This 12-city wedding and tourism fair roadshow aims to promote the local wedding and tourism industry in Cabanatuan, General Santos, Lucena, Baguio, Dumaguete, Pampanga, Davao, Marilao, Tagaytay, Cagayan de Oro, San Fernando, and Bacolod.

Davao City Launched as Wedding Capital at Kasalang Filipino 2010

Wedding suppliers from Davao City and the rest of Mindanao proved why it could be the next wedding capital of the Philippines during the seventh leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 12-city wedding and tourism fair and exhibit, held last June 25 – 27, 2010 at NCCC Mall in Davao City.

The event, co-presented by Kasal.com, ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, and New City Commercial Corporation (NCCC) Mall Davao, showcased the best wedding venues, products, and services from the Crown Jewel of Mindanao as well as other wedding suppliers from nearby provinces.

Aside for creative wedding displays of local wedding suppliers, numerous activities were staged for attending couples and guests. These include marriage processing seminar, hair and make up trends, and cake decoration demo. Local music artists entertained the soon-to-wed couples and mall goers at the event area. Aspiring and professional make-up artists showed off their skills at the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up Competition. It was make up artist Edgar Digol who took home the grand prize of PhP. 20, 000.00 worth of Ever Bilena products, 1-year Gold Priority Listing advertising in Kasal.com worth PhP. 5, 000.00, and a trophy. Bocari Sidik and Juls Robert Milans managed to bag first and second place, respectively. Finally, Davao City’s premiere wedding fashion designers took over the runway and displayed their latest wedding fashion collection.

Certificates were given to all the wedding suppliers who took part in the event. All the couples who attended the event received free gift pack while lucky couples received special gift packs and gift certificates courtesy of the event sponsors.
